I’m Laura, aka Artful Harper Studios.

I'm in love with making art. My third grade yearbook perdicted my future career would be “artist” and I graduated from Chester College of New England in 2007 with a BA in Studio Arts. I followed my dreams! How cool is that?!
My work focuses on the human form, nature and animals, our relationships with environments, vintage technologies, and the possible future of our planet. I work in traditional painting mediums (oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor), digital painting, mixed media, photography, and printmaking.

Studio # 6 in Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery in Exeter, NH is where I do most of my creating, though I do love to make at home and when traveling. ​

Where can I buy your art?
A few places! Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery (120 Front Street, Exeter, NH) is where the majority of my work is for sale. If you are not local to the area and would like to order my art and have it shipped to you, that can be arranged. Please message me, below, to discuss.
Also, though not always active, I do sell ACEOs through my eBay store.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! After a discussion including deposit, monthly cost, and length of time, we would set up a Payment Plan Agreement. This would allow you to provide a downpayment and then pay for your art monthly over time. After the last payment, you can take your art home! There is no interest or fees, only the cost of the painting (and shipping costs if you prefer it to be mailed to you).

What methods of payment do you accept?
Venmo, PayPal, ​check, and cash.

What is Patreon?
Patreon is an online platform where you can support creatives and receive exclusive rewards through a subscription! Each month, I mail out art and ACEOs (tiny original art) to my Patreon supporters. Check out my membership options to learn about the magical little rewards I offer, and select the tier that suits you best. You can change tiers or cancel at any time.

Are you open for commissions?
Yes, though I am very selective and only take a few on a year. Please reach out to discuss what you're looking for and we can explore the possibilities!
